Our Role Models must always use English (even if they are bilingual) to help Learners build their knowledge of actual English words, phrases, and concepts used in school. And, Role Models are trained in how to implement two of our instructional approaches, which teach children self-explanation and vocabulary building strategies (e.g. "That's an egg. Now, you say 'egg'."). This is one reason why our Learners learn so fast.
